If we were having coffee right now, it would be in a park with a blanket and a picnic basket.
Cobbie would be joining us (he loves picnics!), and he would drink his favorite tea mixed with honey, exactly 1 tablespoon of honey and a half teaspoon of sugar. He is really particular with measurements. I guess he copied that from me every time he helps me with cooking.
I would tell you that this coming full moon, me and Cobbie will be off to our next adventure in the Enchanted Forest. He loves the place and he had made quite a few friends the last time were there. Too bad that we can only visit the place during a full moon. He is really excited up to the point that he would cross out the days that passed in the calendar.
If we were having coffee right now, I would tell you that last night, I had a very busy shift. Plus, I met one of the most annoying relatives ever. Just because she has the money to pay, she thinks that she can act like she knows everything. Aargh. 😡
Anyway, we were just taking-things-easy at work when all of a sudden, patients came one by one and filled all the beds. It’s like a one-hour whirlwind. At the end of my shift, I saw that there are still patients waiting in the triage area. Goodluck to the graveyard shift! Whew!
If we were having coffee right now, I would tell you that we just lost a colleague at work from sepsis secondary to hepatorenal syndrome. He is only 26. All of us at work were still in denial. The last time I talked to him was more than a week ago. I teased him that he is becoming slimmer and slimmer, and that he should tell me his secret to losing weight so fast. I didn’t know that he was already suffering from such disease. Well, we have a slight idea that he was sick but when we asked him what the problem is, he would reply that the doctors can’t tell him. And everything happened so fast in just one week.

If we were having coffee right now, I would tell you that I am quite excited for my straight two days off that will start tomorrow. Woohoo! I’ve been working a lot this past few weeks. We have a very tight schedule because most of our colleagues were on leave.
If we were having coffee right now, I would tell you that I will try to post more things related to fiction, horror and other articles. I will try.
If we were having coffee right now, I would tell you that I will go to work now because I’m already late. 😀
xoxo,
A good one that leaves you in thoughts about what you are telling

Yes, exactly. I wanted to keep her out of the area but I also feel sorry for her because I know how it feels when your family is in the hospital. And about my colleague’s condition, it’s really sudden, and yes it is scary. Thank you Jacqueline, and have a lovely weekend too! 🙂

Loved your coffee writing. I am so sorry for your loss. It’s hard to lose a colleague. I have worked in an ER and understand how fast it changes from no one to every bed being full. Keep up the excellent work. We need you there.
