Have you seen the Don’t Speak movie poster? Looks cool ha? It kinda reminds me of The Ring movie.
Honestly, it’s a bait. LOL. 😆 Don’t Speak is not as scary as it looks!
The film is about a group of young people, partying and drinking in a yacht then getting into trouble. (You know, the usual cliché!) When one of their friends got injured by a broken glass, they decided to stop by a nearby village to ask for help.
They were approached by a boy (that looks like a ghost because of his make-up, but actually he is pretty much alive) who advised them to be quiet or they will suffer the consequences. Disappointed for not receiving any help from the locals (since they were scared of an unknown killer who apparently hates noises), the friends decided to split up and take matters into their own hand, including shouting and calling for help. Thus, one by one, they disappeared and ended up dead.
The only part that kept the movie going was the mystery as to why the victims have their mouth stitched… plus the story behind the helpful ghost girl.
All in all, the performance was pretty bad. I mean, annoyingly bad. The twist was not that impressive, too. And the finale, well, I would say it was a lousy ending. Sorry!
