Oh, God of the sea
bring forth your blessings to me
a fish tail, I plea!
So, I can swim by your side
and ride with the wondrous tide

Poetry Day Nine, Apostrophe + Tanka
I find happiness at the sight of the blue sky

Every time I look outside my window at night
I’m always in awe of such a magical sight
of beautiful geese flying in the moonlight
and night flowers blooming calmly in sweet delight
The fascinating feeling doesn’t end there
for when the moonbeam starts to glitter in my hair
I would hear nostalgic music in my ear
making me dream and float in the air
It makes me travel far away
that I would be gone for more than a day
or maybe I could had long slept
but please, don’t wake me up just yet

Poetry Day Six: Enjambment

Proudly you walk, then you stepped on some shit

Before darkness starts to wrap the world like a blanket
it paints the heavens first like a beautiful palette

E-nding the reign of the black orcs and sirens

Poetry Day Two: Alliteration
Her soul is like water
ice cold as the winter
or burning hot like the sun
she is owned by no one Continue reading
If we were having coffee right now, it would be in a park with a blanket and a picnic basket.
Cobbie would be joining us (he loves picnics!), and he would drink his favorite tea mixed with honey, exactly 1 tablespoon of honey and a half teaspoon of sugar. He is really particular with measurements. I guess he copied that from me every time he helps me with cooking. Continue reading
